At last, our fragrance project has been introduced. As a group, we have given a brief to create a new fragrance brand and present it through 2 presentations, one being about the research process of the fragrance industry and the opportunities to then finally presenting a final idea to a panel of our lecture tutors as well as an industry person joining them to view our presentations.
I am too excited to start this project because I love working on an open brief and being as creative as possible. At the moment I am clueless on ideas, as it is a very broad project however hopefully through research with my group, we will be able to come up with something.
Even though I am excited, before we were briefed properly about it, I had no idea what a fragrance project had to do with our course and whether it is relevant but now everything has been explained, I have come to an understanding that this course is about more than fashion and the fragrance market is believed to be exceed $36 billion in 2017, therefore they have set us a challenge to create a brand which will succeed in the saturated market.
